Support Groups

We’re thrilled for the return of our Postpartum Support Circles where wisdom and shared experiences remind us we are not alone. Attendees are welcome to bring their infants with them, or join our group solo. Each gathering is open to all who have given birth within the past 18 months.

We always have a topic in mind, however we adapt to the requests of the group. We’ll provide tea for the caregivers, and a baby-friendly room with toys and books on hand for littles. You don’t need to be struggling to join this supportive community.

Birth Story Portals are an invitation to draw up and connect to the power of support, transformation and inner wisdom through shared stories. These story circles can be healing and validating, tender and nurturing, enlightening and inspiring. However you have been called to this portal, we are so glad you are here.

Hosted by Christine Anderson at Woven Postpartum. All birthing folks are welcome, and we ask this portal to be a container for adults only; no babes or children, please.

Abortion Story Portals are facilitated by Christine Anderson, trained abortion doula and abortion support specialist. This group is a space for people to receive non-judgmental, post-abortion emotional support. Each gathering is a confidential space for speaking openly about abortion experiences, free from shame and stigma. Happiness, sadness, grief, anxiety, empowerment, guilt and relief are all common feelings after an abortion. We feel it is necessary to hold a judgement free space outside of political and religious debate where honest stories may be shared. Each group begins with an introduction to the circle, followed by story share and a guided meditation. All who experienced an abortion are invited to this group. You are not alone.

Join Christine Anderson of Woven Postpartum for a FREE nature walk through Al Sabo Land Preserve with community members! This event is geared toward families with kiddos ages 0-2 years old. This is an adult paced walk, and the trail is stroller and baby carrier friendly.
